Process Engineer (PSE - Process Support) - Port Klang Selangor

Job Responsibilities:-

1. Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Manufacturing, NPI, and other cross-functional teams to ensure smooth daily operations and drive continuous process improvements.

2. Conduct routine production line audits and process verification activities to ensure compliance with established manufacturing standards, procedures, and quality requirements.

3. Review, develop, and maintain SMT-related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process documentation. Lead equipment, tooling, and fixture qualification and buy-off activities.

4. Investigate, analyze, and resolve major process and quality-related issues using structured problem-solving methodologies to prevent recurrence and improve product reliability.

5. Monitor and sustain manufacturing yield, productivity, and process capability through effective process control, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.

6. Lead and support process optimization initiatives through Design of Experiments (DOE), statistical analysis, and data-driven decision-making.

7. Apply IPC-A-610 standards to ensure product quality and support manufacturing and quality improvement activities.

8. Prepare technical reports, present findings, and provide recommendations to management and relevant stakeholders.

Job Requirements :-

1. Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Electronics, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field).

2. Minimum 3 years and above working experience in manufacturing environment. Knowledge of SMT, Wave Soldering, Reflow Soldering, SPI, PCBA process control will be an added advantage.

3. Willing to work on rotational shifts and provide support for overtime, including weekends, whenever production demands require.

4. Able to support a 6-day work week in accordance with operational requirements.
