Process Engineer (Waste Management)

Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Job Responsibilities

Monitor and control plant processes through the

SCADA system

to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Analyse process parameters and operating data to identify abnormalities and opportunities for improvement.

Troubleshoot process and equipment issues and work closely with operations and maintenance teams to resolve them.

Support the optimisation of waste treatment and incineration processes to improve plant efficiency and reliability.

Develop and maintain process documentation, operating procedures and technical reports.

Conduct investigations into process deviations and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.

Monitor plant performance and ensure processes comply with operational, safety and environmental requirements.

Work with internal teams to implement process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Minimum

Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline

.

Prior experience in process engineering, plant operations or a manufacturing/industrial environment is preferred.

Experience with

SCADA systems

or similar plant monitoring/control systems will be an advantage.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Candidates with experience in waste management, chemical processing, incineration or other process industries will be an advantage.
