About the role

We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join our engineering team on a full-time basis at our facility in Samut Prakan. This is a strategic role that plays a crucial part in optimising our steel manufacturing processes, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring product quality. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analysing, and improving our production processes to meet quality standards, reduce costs, and enhance overall productivity. Your work will have a direct impact on our operational success and our ability to deliver exceptional products to our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise steel manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety standards
• Conduct process audits and analyse production data to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement
• Create detailed process flow diagrams, standard operating procedures, and technical documentation
• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, implementing corrective actions as needed
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement
• Conduct feasibility studies for new equipment, techniques, and materials relevant to steel production
• Perform cost-benefit analysis for process improvements and capital projects
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements
• Train and support production staff on new processes and procedures
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and records of process changes and outcomes

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience in process engineering, preferably within steel manufacturing or heavy industry
• Strong understanding of steel production processes, including casting, rolling, and heat treatment
• Proficiency in process modelling software and industrial control systems
• Knowledge of quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
• Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical ability
• Strong communication and teamwork capabilities
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and engineering simulation software
• Understanding of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations
• Preferred experience with statistical process control (SPC) and process optimisation techniques
