Process Engineering Intern

Allient is currently seeking a motivated and skilled Process Engineering Intern to join our team in Vila do Conde, Portugal!

Responsibilities:

• Support the definition, documentation and optimization of manufacturing processes and work instructions;
• Assist in the analysis of production processes and the identification of improvement opportunities;
• Collaborate with production teams to support process implementation and provide technical assistance;
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency, quality and productivity;
• Support the monitoring and analysis of process performance indicators;
• Assist in problem-solving activities and root cause analysis;
• Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of process and quality documentation, including PFMEA;
• Support the validation of process changes, new materials and manufacturing methods;
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality and R&D teams on the industrialization of new products.

Requirements:

• Recently graduated with a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Proactive attitude, curiosity and willingness to learn;
• Good communication and teamwork skills;
• Good command of English, both written and spoken;
• Knowledge of CAD/CAE tools, GD&T, PFMEA or 8D methodologies is a plus.
