Process Engineering Technician – Solar Cell Manufacturing

Job Summary:

Abner Solar Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Process Technician to support daily manufacturing processes at our solar cell production facility. This position will assist with process monitoring, data analysis, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement to support production efficiency and product quality.

Training will be provided, and previous solar manufacturing experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitor daily production performance and assist with analyzing efficiency and yield data.

2. Identify process issues and work with team members to improve production performance and product quality.

3. Support process improvements and help reduce production defects and material waste.

4. Monitor and record process data, including Statistical Process Control (SPC) results, and report abnormalities.

5. Assist with troubleshooting process-related issues and implementing corrective actions.

6. Support process testing and experiments under the guidance of supervisors or engineers.

7. Collect, organize, and summarize production and experimental data using Excel or other reporting tools.

8. Follow company safety, quality, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

9. Perform other process-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Associate degree or higher in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

2. Experience: Previous experience in manufacturing, process control, or quality is a plus, but not required.

3. Technical Skills: Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel. Ability to collect, organize, and analyze data.

4. Problem-Solving: Willingness to learn basic troubleshooting and process improvement technique

5: Communication: Good communication and teamwork skills.

6. Work Attitude: Responsible, detail-oriented, organized, and willing to learn.

7. Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple tasks.

8. Industry Experience: Experience in solar cell manufacturing, semiconductor, or related industries is preferred but not required.

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing and production environment.

• May require standing, walking, and working near production equipment.

• Must follow all company safety, quality, and environmental procedures.

• On-the-job training will be provided.
