Process Executive (Glaze Operations)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily glaze operations to achieve production, quality, and operational targets.
• Oversee glaze application and decorative printing processes to ensure consistent product quality.
• Monitor glaze consumption and implement initiatives to reduce material wastage.
• Coordinate product changeovers and maintain smooth production flow.
• Investigate process abnormalities, defects, and equipment issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production, quality, engineering, and suppliers to support operational requirements.
• Monitor critical process parameters including glaze density, viscosity, coating consistency, and line performance.
• Lead, coach, and develop shift leaders and technicians to enhance team capability.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, safety requirements, and operational procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and equipment efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Ceramic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in ceramic tile manufacturing, production engineering, process control, or related manufacturing operations.
• Knowledge of ceramic glaze technology, glaze chemistry, and decorative printing processes.
• Familiarity with PLC, HMI, automation systems, and quality management practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience in process improvement and manufacturing optimization is an added advantage.
