Process Improvement Specialist

Role Description This part-time, remote Process Improvement Specialist role at Mentores con Propósito focuses on analyzing and enhancing organizational processes to improve efficiency and outcomes. The specialist will map current business processes, identify gaps or bottlenecks, and propose optimized workflows aligned with strategic goals. Daily activities include gathering and interpreting data, facilitating discussions with stakeholders, documenting process changes, and supporting implementation of new procedures or tools. The role also involves developing simple metrics or dashboards to monitor performance, preparing clear reports and presentations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure sustainable adoption of improvements.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability in Business Process Improvement and Business Process design, including mapping, documentation, and continuous refinement.
• Strong Analytical Skills with experience in Process Optimization, using data and metrics to diagnose issues and evaluate solutions.
• Effective Communication skills, including the ability to explain complex processes in a clear, accessible manner to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience working remotely, with strong time management, self-organization, and collaborative skills in virtual environments.
• Knowledge of basic project management practices and change management principles.
• Comfort with productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., spreadsheets, process-mapping software, online meeting platforms).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in social impact, education, or mentoring-focused organizations is a plus.
