Process Lead

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Process Lead to manage and oversee Finance & Accounting processes. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in General Ledger, accounting operations and F&A processes, preferably with exposure to US Commercial Real Estate Property Accounting and Yardi/MRI.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Oversee and review the work performed by Senior Analysts and Analysts.
• Handle financial month-end processes and reporting.
• Review Fixed Assets maintenance, Inter-company Reconciliation and Balance Sheet Reconciliation.
• Perform and review Variance Analysis and provide appropriate commentary.
• Support consolidation of financial statements of corporate companies and subsidiaries.
• Ensure revenue, current expenses and capital expenditure are recorded appropriately as per US GAAP.
• Ensure proper classification of assets and liabilities on the balance sheet.
• Handle team members' accounting queries, questions and internal/external escalations.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams to ensure accurate accounting records.
• Support year-end tax audit reports as per US GAAP.
• Monitor performance reporting and SLA adherence.
• Maintain required internal matrices.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• 5+ years of experience in BPO Finance & Accounting processes.
• Strong knowledge of accounting concepts.
• Experience in General Ledger is preferred.
• Experience in US Commercial Real Estate Property Accounting is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Yardi / MRI is preferred.
• Knowledge of or interest in learning US GAAP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Customer-focused approach with the ability to understand and deliver according to customer requirements.
• Minimum 1 year of team-handling experience.
• CA / CMA candidates are not eligible for this position.
