Process Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

This role involves analyzing current production and utility processes to identify areas for improvement and leading the development and implementation of standardized operating procedures and best practices. You will collaborate closely with Production, Quality Assurance (QA), Maintenance, and Research & Development (R&D) teams to troubleshoot process-related issues, ensuring that engineering solutions align with product and process requirements. You will also be responsible for onboarding, training, coaching, and engaging staff to support their growth and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze current production and utility processes to identify areas for improvement
• Lead the development and implementation of standardized operating procedures and best practices
• Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Research & Development teams to troubleshoot process-related issues
• Ensure engineering solutions align with product and process requirements
• Onboard, train, coach, and engage staff to support their growth and performance

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, Chemical, or any related course
• At least 3 years of proven experience in process engineering within the FMCG or food manufacturing sector
• In-depth knowledge of process engineering concepts, equipment operation, and utility systems (such as chillers, compressors, and boilers)
• Knowledgeable in pump and pasteurizer operation
• Experienced in process mapping, conducting root cause analysis, and applying statistical process control techniques
• Capable of interpreting technical blueprints, utility diagrams, and equipment manuals
• Knowledgeable about Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and safety regulations in the food industry or FMCG sectors
• Familiar with technical software like AutoCAD, PLC monitoring systems, or SCADA
• Skilled in process automation and enhancing equipment efficiency
• Strong analytical mindset, leadership, communication, strategic planning, and organizational skills
