What they need

About Us

Gylden Resources, a subsidiary of Andel Resources, is an emerging gold producer preparing to pour first gold from the Kirkalocka Processing Facility near Mount Magnet in Q1 CY2027.

Located 70km south of Mount Magnet in the Murchison Goldfields of Western Australia, Kirkalocka has been established as a regional processing hub, with the capability to treat oxide, transitional and fresh ores from both our own mining operations and third-party producers through toll treatment arrangements.

With funding secured and a significant capital investment program underway, we are progressing the refurbishment and expansion of the Kirkalocka Processing Facility.

Our integrated business spans mining, haulage, processing and contract services, providing a diverse and sustainable operating platform. This creates genuine long-term opportunities for people who want to be part of building a modern gold operation from the ground up.

At Gylden, you'll join a collaborative team where practical thinking, accountability and continuous improvement are valued. Whether you're based on site or in our Perth office, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to a business that is growing, investing and focused on long-term success.

About the Role

We are seeking a Process Manager to join our team, based at our Kirkalocka project. You will lead the team from refurbishment, commissioning, through to steady-state operations.

This is a permanent, full-time position on a 4/3 roster, from Perth, and will oversee processing operations and fixed plant maintenance of a 2.0 Mtpa CIL plant.

Key Components Include:

  • Develop and deliver operational plans and KPIs covering safety, environment, production, recovery, product quality and commercial performance.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, metallurgical and laboratory performance, and lead a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Optimise processing methods, plant utilisation and maintenance strategies, including planned and unplanned maintenance, reliability and defect elimination.
  • Plan and run toll treatment campaigns, including scheduling, stockpile segregation and delivery of contracted throughput and recovery targets.
  • Manage metallurgical accounting, gold reconciliation and gold custody across client campaigns, and resolve client reconciliation queries.
  • Assess operational and commercial risks and opportunities, and deliver production reporting, benchmarking and contingency planning.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal teams, clients, contractors, suppliers, regulators and the local community.
  • Champion a strong safety culture though personal commitment and building safety management into everyday work.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental and regulatory obligations.
  • Be seen as a trusted advisor with high professional and ethical standards.

About You

You’re a safety-focused leader who combines strong technical gold processing knowledge with commercial acumen and a hands-on approach. You thrive on delivering results, continuous improvement, and working with your team to ensure positive outcomes for all.

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

  • A tertiary qualification in Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering, Metallurgical Science or similar (qualifications in finance or business management highly regarded).
  • Section 26 / SSE and a valid WA C class driver’s licence.
  • Significant, progressive experience in gold processing, leading both process operations and fixed plant maintenance.
  • Proven experience managing toll milling operations, including metallurgical reconciliation, client relationship management and campaign scheduling.
  • Commissioning and/or brownfields development experience.
  • Strong metallurgical accounting skills, including routine reporting through to executive level.
  • Sound knowledge of WHS and environmental regulations, the Mining Act and Regulations, the Cyanide Code and TSF management.
  • Experience with maintenance management systems, budgets and cost management.
  • Adaptable with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Visible safety leadership and a track record of building, coaching and developing high-performing teams.
  • Commercial credibility, and confident engaging with clients.
  • A calm, decisive and practical approach, suited to a hands-on, site-based environment.

What We Offer

  • A competitive, industry-benchmarked remuneration package.
  • A family-friendly 4/3 roster.
  • The opportunity to play a key role in the successful restart and commissioning of the Kirkalocka Gold Project.
  • The stability of a well-funded group with real operating infrastructure and a growing project pipeline.
  • A mature, safety-first operation with established systems, procedures and an experienced leadership team.
  • A collaborative, supportive team environment with experienced leaders who value accountability, innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Career development opportunities as the business continues to grow and expand its operations.
