Process Operator - Food manufacturing

About the role

You will be working in a small team to help assist in the refining and deodorizing process. The role encompasses both the manual and automated process of refining oils. This position is full‑time at 40 hours per week, with a mix of days and nightshifts.

This a permanent role offering a competitive salary, subsidised medical insurance and company superannuation.

Duties

• Operation of all utilities and production plant
• Operating HMI/PLC system
• Ensure all products are manufactured to grade
• Ensure the refinery operates at optimum capacity
• Administration of production and quality data
• Fulfil responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015

Skills & experience

• Proven production or manufacturing skills
• Experience of control rooms PLC systems / HMI system ideally (not essential)
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts and do both day and night rotations
• Can a can-do attitude and willing to work part of a team
• Confident communicator
• High level of fitness
• Prepared to be hands on with a practical approach
• Follow safety protocols
