Key Responsibilities:

• Process Routing & Master Scheduling: Define and map out step-by-step production sequences and machine routing across all workshop departments (CNC Milling, Turning, EDM, Wire Cut, Surface Grinding, Heat Treatment, and QC Inspection).
• Capacity & Material Planning: Evaluate shop-floor machine capacity, material availability, and lead times to generate realistic master production schedules (MPS).
• Technical Drawing Analysis: Review incoming customer 2D & 3D engineering blueprints for DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and process feasibility.
• Cycle Time & Costing Estimation: Estimate setup/machining cycle times and consumable tool requirements. Apply material rates and machine hourly rates into cost templates to generate accurate quotes
• Execution & Variance Control: Monitor work-in-progress (WIP), identify production bottlenecks, and compare actual production hours against planned estimates to continuously improve shop-floor efficiency.

Requirements:

• Blueprint Literacy (Must-Have): Excellent ability to read and interpret complex 2D & 3D engineering drawings fluently. Proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) to verify dimensions.

• Comprehensive Machining Knowledge (Must-Have): Hands-on understanding of precision machining operations, including CNC Milling/Turning, EDM, Wire Cut, and Precision Grinding.

• Experience & Level:

  • Engineer Level: 2–4 years of experience in production planning, process engineering, or machinist/programming background in a precision machine shop.
  • Manager Level: 5+ years of hands-on experience with proven leadership in master scheduling, bottleneck management, and team coordination.

• Language Preference: Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred to liaise with shop-floor teams and regional vendors, but fluent English/Bahasa Malaysia speakers with strong technical backgrounds are welcome.

• Attributes: Exceptional logical thinking, strong data management, structured planning skills, and a result-oriented mindset.
