Process Re Engineer - Global Markets

Description

We are looking for an experienced Process Reengineering professional to lead and deliver multiple transformation and process improvement initiatives across Global Markets.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of analysing complex processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, designing future-state processes and delivering measurable business value .

The role requires someone who can independently manage multiple projects, work with senior stakeholders across business and technology teams, and take initiatives from problem identification through implementation and benefits realisation .

Experience within Structured Products / Derivatives / Global Markets is an advantage, but strong process reengineering and transformation experience is the primary requirement.

Key Responsibilities

Process Reengineering & Transformation

• Lead end-to-end process reengineering initiatives across Global Markets.
• Assess existing processes to identify inefficiencies, duplication, manual activities, control gaps and operational risks .
• Design and implement optimized future-state processes and operating models .
• Challenge existing ways of working and identify opportunities for simplification, standardisation and automation .
• Develop transformation roadmaps and drive initiatives through implementation and BAU adoption.

Project & Portfolio Management

• Manage multiple transformation initiatives simultaneously , prioritising activities based on business impact and value.
• Own projects from discovery and analysis through design, implementation, go-live and post-implementation review .
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Business, Operations, Technology, Risk, Finance and other control functions.
• Track project milestones, dependencies, risks, issues and benefits.
• Ensure initiatives deliver measurable outcomes rather than simply producing process documentation.

Lean Six Sigma & Continuous Improvement

• Apply Lean Six Sigma / DMAIC principles to identify root causes and eliminate process inefficiencies.
• Conduct process mapping, value-stream analysis, root-cause analysis and waste identification.
• Establish appropriate KPIs and metrics to measure process performance.
• Build a culture of continuous improvement and encourage data-driven decision making.

Business Value & Automation

• Identify opportunities to deliver cost reduction, improved productivity, faster processing, better controls and enhanced client experience .
• Build business cases and quantify expected benefits.
• Identify opportunities for STP, workflow automation, data improvements and technology enablement .
• Partner with technology teams to ensure solutions address the underlying business problem.
• Measure realised benefits following implementation.

Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with senior stakeholders to understand strategic priorities and translate them into actionable transformation initiatives.
• Facilitate workshops with business and technology teams.
• Present recommendations, business cases and progress to senior management.
• Influence stakeholders and drive change across teams without relying solely on formal authority.

Required Experience

• 10+ years' experience in process reengineering, business transformation, operational transformation, consulting or a similar discipline.
• Demonstrated experience leading multiple projects/programmes simultaneously .
• Proven track record of delivering measurable business value through process improvement.
• Strong experience in process analysis, process redesign and operating-model transformation .
• Experience working with senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Strong project management and execution capabilities.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma / continuous improvement methodologies .
• Ability to translate complex business problems into practical, implementable solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Lean six sigma black belt certification
• Experience with STP, automation, digital transformation or workflow optimisation .

Preferred Experience

• Experience within Global Markets / Investment Banking / Financial Services .
• Exposure to Structured Products, Derivatives, Trading, Treasury or Markets Operations .
• Experience working in global, multi-location teams.
• Data/analytics skills such as SQL, Power BI or similar tools.
