El Dorado, Arkansas | Up to $160,000 + 15% Bonus | Full-Time

INFINITEK is partnering with a leading industrial organization to recruit an experienced Process Safety Engineer for its El Dorado, Arkansas facility. This is an opportunity for an experienced Process Safety / PSM professional to take a leading role in the site's Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Plan (RMP) programs.

You’ll work closely with Operations, Engineering and EH&S teams to identify and manage process safety risks, strengthen compliance and drive continuous improvement across the facility.

The Opportunity

You will have responsibility for areas including:

• Leading PSM and RMP programs and procedures
• Facilitating Process Hazard Analyses (PHA) and supporting LOPA studies
• Providing oversight of the Management of Change (MOC) process
• Leading Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations
• Conducting and supporting PSM/RMP audits
• Identifying and addressing process safety risks and compliance gaps
• Supporting incident and accident investigations
• Developing and coordinating process safety training
• Reviewing and improving procedures
• Supporting regulatory permitting and reporting
• Ensuring Operations personnel remain current with required training
• Managing elements of the site's Learning Management System (LMS)
• Working with internal teams and external organizations on process safety matters

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Industrial, Safety or Mechanical Engineering preferred
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience
• Strong knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) and/or Risk Management Plan (RMP) requirements
• Experience with PHA, LOPA, MOC and RCA
• Experience within a chemical, petrochemical, fertilizer, refining or other high-hazard process environment is highly relevant
• Strong understanding of applicable federal and state regulations
• Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Experience with PHAWorks and/or OESuites would be beneficial

Compensation

Up to $160,000 base salary for candidates with 10+ years of relevant experience, plus a 15% bonus, plus relocation assistance if required.

The role also offers the opportunity to take genuine ownership of a site's Process Safety program and make a direct impact on risk management, regulatory compliance, operational safety and continuous improvement.

Working Environment

This is a hands-on, site-based position within a significant industrial process environment. The role involves working in process areas, wearing appropriate PPE and periodically participating in an after-hours emergency on-call rotation.
