Process Specialist R2R Process Improvement and Transition

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives within the Record-to-Report (R2R) function to enhance efficiency, quality, and standardization.
• Support R2R transition projects, including process mapping, knowledge transfer, fit-gap analysis, and stabilization of migrated activities.
• Identify process optimization opportunities through KPI analysis, operational metrics, and benchmarking.
• Collaborate with Global Process Owners (GPOs), Operations, and Transition teams to ensure standardized and compliant R2R processes across locations.
• Participate in process documentation, SOP creation, policy updates, and governance activities.
• Support implementation of new tools, process changes, and automation initiatives while assessing business impact.
• Monitor process compliance, controls, and service quality, ensuring adherence to internal policies and SOX/ICFR requirements.
• Share best practices and provide process expertise to operations teams during transition and post-transition phases.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5+ years of experience in Finance Shared Services/BPO with strong exposure to Record-to-Report (R2R).
• Hands-on experience in R2R transitions, process migration, or transformation projects.
• Strong background in process improvement, standardization, and operational excellence.
• Experience in process mapping, gap analysis, SOP documentation, and stakeholder management.
• Exposure to SAP (or similar ERP systems) and process performance metrics.
• Strong analytical, communication, and project coordination skills.
