Process Technician

Job Overview:
We are seeking skilled Process Technicians to operate and maintain our various machines in the production department, covering extrusion, cutting or printing machines.

Responsbilities:

• Ensure machines operate according to production targets, quality specifications, and safety requirements.

• Monitor process parameters and record production data accurately.

• Support efforts to reduce scrap, downtime, and machine stoppages.

• Perform machine start-up, shutdown, and product changeover.

• Support Production Engineers/Managers in process improvement and productivity improvement.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience in machine operation, setup, troubleshooting, and production processes is preferred.
• Experience in plastic film / extrusion / converting is an added advantage.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Able to read and understand machine drawings, electrical schematics, and pneumatic diagrams.
• Able to perform machine setup, adjustment, changeover, and basic preventive maintenance.
• Able to identify machine abnormalities and perform first-level troubleshooting.

Soft Skills

• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Willing to work shift, weekends, and overtime when required.
• Good discipline, responsibility, and attention to detail.
