Process Technician

Title: Process Technician (Split Shift 1st-2nd)

Reports To: Molding Supervisor

Shift Availability: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd

Position Summary: The Process Technician is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting molding equipment and processes to ensure efficient production.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment according to production schedules and specifications.
• Monitor production processes, adjusting as needed to maintain product quality and maximize efficiency.
• Perform tooling adjustments, and machine adjustments as required to support production requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance activities on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Work collaboratively with production team members to identify and implement process improvements, including cycle time optimization and waste reduction initiatives.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• Ensure compliance with Amaneos policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to Quality.

Preferred Education and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in plastics processing or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 23 years of experience in plastics manufacturing, with a focus on injection molding processes.
• Handson experience operating injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment, with knowledge of mold setup and troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problemsolving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment and process issues effectively.
• Knowledge of quality control principles and practices, with a commitment to producing highquality products.
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced manufacturing environment, with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed.
