Summary:

Responsible for cleaning, preparation and operation of assigned vacuum coating chambers. Performs work according to written instructions and training provided by the Manufacturing and Production Managers and Process Engineers. Participates in setup and maintenance of electro-mechanical equipment in a clean room environment. Performs in-process and final testing on product. Provides general support within the manufacturing team, including handling, preparation and packaging of incoming and outgoing products. All work performed within ISO9001 environment.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Responsible for cleaning, preparation and material loading of the chamber
• Responsible for vacuum chamber electronics operation, monitoring, trouble shooting and maintenance.
• Responsible for the scientific processing of material in an ISO 9001 environment.
• Repairs and maintains Coating Lab and Facility equipment.
• Assists with inventory and ordering of consumable items.
• Assists with packaging and shipping, handling of flight hardware and forklift operation.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in high vacuum thin film coating is desired.
