Process Technologist

Company Description Marston Foods is a dessert manufacturer based in Frome in the Somerset, producing hand-finished, award-winning desserts for over 12 years. The company focuses on delivering high-quality, desserts to the UK retail market.

Role Description The Process Technologist is a full-time, on-site role located in Frome, responsible for new product development trials, documenting process parameters and standard operating procedures. The Process Technologist will work closely with NPD, Quality and Production to implement process controls, support food safety and regulatory compliance, and identify opportunities for efficiency and waste reduction. The position requires hands-on presence on the production floor and active engagement with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

·        Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment

·        Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment

·        Keen interest in food

·        Ability to prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines

·        Good personal and communication skills

·        Good attention to detail
