Process Technology Program Lead

Role Description The Process Technology Program Lead is a full-time, on-site role located in the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Area. This role oversees the daily operations of the Process Technology program, including curriculum coordination, course scheduling, and alignment with industry standards and accreditation requirements. The Program Lead collaborates with faculty, staff, and external partners to improve instructional quality, enhance student learning outcomes, and maintain strong relationships with local employers. Day-to-day responsibilities include mentoring and advising students, monitoring program performance metrics, leading continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring excellent service and communication with students and stakeholders. The role may also involve classroom or lab instruction, coordination of training activities, and participation in committees and community outreach related to process technology and workforce development.

• Candidates should possess Business Process Improvement experience to streamline program operations, enhance workflows, and support continuous quality enhancement.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact clearly with students, colleagues, and external partners in both written and verbal formats.
• Candidates should possess Customer Service orientation to provide responsive, student-centered support and foster positive relationships with stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess Training experience to design and deliver instructional activities, support faculty development, and align learning outcomes with industry needs.
• Relevant experience in process technology, industrial operations, or a related technical field is highly beneficial.
• Relevant Master's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology
• Bachelor’s degree in Process Technology, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a closely related discipline preferred; an associate degree with significant industry experience may be considered.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in an academic setting and familiarity with community college or HBCU environments is advantageous.
