Process Worker

Waitaki BioSciences (2026) Limited | Christchurch

Waitaki BioSciences is looking for reliable and motivated Process Workers to join our Christchurch manufacturing team.

This is a hands-on role supporting the manufacture of high-quality natural health ingredients in a production environment where quality, safety, teamwork and attention to detail are important.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate production and processing equipment.
• Carry out batching, drying, blending, milling and extraction processes.
• Monitor production and complete required production records.
• Perform routine quality checks, including weights, temperatures, and pH.
• Follow GMP, food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures.
• Clean and maintain equipment and production areas, including CIP and changeover cleaning.
• Identify and report on equipment, quality, or safety issues.
• Work as part of the team to achieve production requirements.

• Are reliable, hardworking and willing to learn.
• Have good attention to detail and can follow procedures.
• Are comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
• Can work independently and as part of a team.
• Are committed to maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene and safety.
• Are able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment medical assessment and drug and alcohol test.
• Have previous manufacturing or food-processing experience — an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided.
