Process Worker - Day Shift

Our client is a family-owned Australian food manufacturing business based in Orange, NSW. The company produces high-quality chilled food products and has built a strong reputation for flavour, quality and consistency.

As the business continues to grow, they are seeking an experienced Process Worker to join their production team.

Hours: 6:00am – 2:00pm (Monday to Friday)

As a Process Worker, you will play an important role in ensuring production runs efficiently, safely and to a high standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Measuring and dispensing dry and liquid ingredients according to production specifications
• Following recipes and production instructions accurately
• Completing batch documentation, paperwork and production records
• Packing and palletising finished products
• Working within a temperature-controlled production environment
• Cleaning and sanitising machinery and production areas
• Performing basic machine troubleshooting and maintenance
• Identifying and reporting production issues to production leaders
• Supporting production, quality and safety requirements
• Regularly standing, walking, bending and lifting materials weighing 10–15 kg

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous process worker or machine operating experience, essential
• Previous experience within a food manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a hands-on approach
• Good computer skills
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP and workplace safety standards
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately follow recipes and procedures
• A proactive and reliable attitude
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• The physical capacity to perform manual handling and repetitive tasks
