What they need
About the role
Support daily production by safely handling and processing meat by-products into quality ingredients for the pet food industry, while meeting hygiene and production requirements. Fixed-term contract for the seasonal production period
Key responsibilities
- Carry out meat by-product processing, product handling and general production duties.
- Operate equipment safely when trained and authorised.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and health and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean work area and report hazards or production issues.
- Work with the team to meet daily quality and production targets.
About you
- Reliable and positive, with a high level of attendance and punctuality.
- Physically capable of repetitive heavy lifting of up to 25 kg throughout the working day.
- Able to follow instructions and work well in a team.
- Good attention to safety, quality and detail.
- Experience in meat processing, food manufacturing or pet food production is helpful but not essential; training is provided.
