About the role

This role involves assisting with daily dairy production, including milk processing and other dairy products. You will operate and monitor production machinery and equipment safely, use the SCADA system to monitor production processes and identify alarms or issues, and ensure products meet food safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily dairy production, including milk processing and other dairy products
• Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment safely
• Use the SCADA system to monitor production processes, check operating parameters, and identify alarms or process issues
• Monitor temperature, pressure, flow rates, and other production parameters as required
• Pack, seal, label, and prepare dairy products for distribution
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet food safety and quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of production areas and equipment
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures
• Report equipment faults, process irregularities, or SCADA system alarms to the supervisor
• Work with team members to meet daily production targets

About you

• Previous experience in dairy production, food processing, or manufacturing is preferred
• Experience using a SCADA system to monitor and control production processes is highly desirable
• Basic understanding of production machinery and process monitoring
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and quality standards
• Ability to monitor production data and identify process irregularities
• Physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks and manual handling
• Comfortable working in a chilled production environment, if required
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills
• Reliable, hardworking, and willing to work shifts as required
