Process Workers - Sheetmetal

About the role

We are seeking experienced Process Workers with some sheetmetal experience. Based in Canning Vale, WA 6155, you will be integral to our sheetmetal processing operations, contributing directly to the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing output. Key responsibilities

• Operating and monitoring sheetmetal processing equipment in accordance with safety procedures and quality standards
• Preparing materials
• Performing cutting, bending, forming
• Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality requirements
• Maintaining accurate records of production output and material usage
• Adhering to all workplace health and safety protocols and company policies
• Assisting with inventory management and organisation of work areas
• Communicating effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth operations

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working with sheetmetal processing equipment and fabrication techniques
• Demonstrated knowledge of safety procedures and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and work instructions
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce consistently high-quality work
• Experience operating machinery such as press brakes, guillotines, or shearing equipment
• Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks and work in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility and reliability in meeting production schedules
• Current or willingness to obtain relevant certifications or qualifications in sheetmetal work
