Duties

• Assist with loan documentation and data entry using industry-standard software such as Encompass and Microsoft Office tools
• Support the processing of mortgage applications, including FHA (Federal Housing Administration), VA (Veterans Affairs), and conventional loans
• Collaborate with loan officers and underwriters to gather necessary documents and ensure accurate loan files
• Maintain compliance with Fair Housing regulations and banking regulatory standards throughout the loan process
• Perform basic math calculations for escrow, amortization schedules, and credit analysis support
• Assist in reviewing loan files for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to lending policies

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in finance or related fields is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic math proficiency and 10-key typing skills for data entry tasks
• Excellent communication skills for internal team collaboration and client interaction
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) preferred but not required; training provided
• Demonstrated interest in banking, lending, or financial services industries is advantageous
• Willingness to learn about loan origination processes, credit analysis, escrow procedures, and compliance requirements
