Processor / Licensed Closing Title Insurance Agent

Overview

Our 35 year established real estate title company is seeking an experienced Title Processor / Licensed Closing Title Insurance Agent to join our growing team. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who can independently manage residential real estate transactions from contract to closing while delivering exceptional customer service.

We are willing to train the right candidate with Processing experience to become a licened Closer.

Duties

• Review and analyze legal descriptions, public records, and title documents to verify ownership and encumbrances such as rights-of-way and easements
• Conduct thorough research using mapping software, GIS (Geographic Information Systems), and public records to confirm property details and boundaries
• Prepare and process title commitments, policies, and related documentation adhering to underwriting guidelines
• Coordinate with attorneys, surveyors, and other stakeholders to resolve title issues or discrepancies promptly
• Review real estate documentation including deeds, affidavits, and legal descriptions to ensure accuracy before closing
• Facilitate the closing process by preparing necessary paperwork, explaining legal terms to clients, and ensuring compliance with real estate law
• Maintain meticulous records of all title processing activities, correspondence, and legal reviews for audit purposes

Qualifications

• Experience handling all aspects of residential real estate closings is preferred but will train the right candidate.
• Thorough knowledge of reviewing title commitments, preparing Closing Disclosures, and closing documents.
• Familiarity with ALTA Best Practices.
• Experience with Closers Choice software is preferred but not required
• Excellent organizational and customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to outstanding customer service.

Compensation will be based on experience.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
