Procument Specialist

Roles & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:

• Source goods, materials, components, or services in line with

specified cost, quality, and delivery targets, ensuring timely

fulfillment of business requirements.

• Analyze costs for new and existing purchases, and actively

participate in cost reduction and value improvement initiatives.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and

implement opportunities for process and business

improvements.

• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, striving to

improve pricing, terms, and overall value, while leveraging

procurement best practices and negotiation tools.

• Ensure strict adherence to company guidelines, purchasing

policies, and procedures throughout the supplier negotiation

and contract award process.

• Conduct market research to identify potential new suppliers and

alternative components, supporting business continuity and

innovation.

• Compile and analyze data related to supplier performance,

providing insights for supplier evaluation and selection.

• Assess and evaluate suppliers, contributing to regular

performance reviews to ensure contract compliance and

optimal supplier relationships.

• Liaise with suppliers to resolve issues related to pricing, quality, delivery, or invoicing in a timely and effective manner.

• Support the vendor onboarding process, ensuring all required

documentation and compliance checks are completed.

• Initiate and process advance payment requests for suppliers as

per company policies.

• Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities, supplier

communications, and contract documentation.

Technical / Educational

Qualification

Bachelors Degree from an accredited university/college

• 3 years minimum indirect procurement experience

• 3 years minimum APAC working experience

• Fluent in English

• MS Office skills

Key Deliverables / KPI

• Reduce costs & lead to sizable savings over the average market price for the Sourcing events assigned by the lead.

• Create the contract and catalogs to increase Spend under

management.

• Drive and implement the Cost savings/avoidance initiatives &

Indirect strategies as per the regional & global directives.
