Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and develop sourcing strategies.
• Utilize procurement management systems such as SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle EBS, and other ERP platforms to process purchase orders and manage procurement workflows.
• Communicate effectively with vendors to negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and contractual terms while fostering strong vendor relationships.
• Monitor inventory levels using materials management techniques and inventory management software to ensure optimal stock levels.
• Analyze Excel data and spreadsheets to identify cost-saving opportunities, track purchase trends, and support procurement decisions.
• Coordinate logistics and supply chain activities to ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining compliance with company policies.
• Support sourcing initiatives by evaluating supplier performance, conducting direct negotiations, and assisting in vendor selection processes.

Experience

• Proven experience in procurement or purchasing management within a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, SAP ERP, JD Edwards, Oracle EBS, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of materials management, inventory control, logistics, and supply chain management principles.
• Experience supporting purchasing management systems technically and managing vendor communication effectively.
• Skilled in Excel data analysis for procurement insights and pricing strategies.
• Knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems and direct negotiation procurement techniques.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a collaborative setting.
