We're looking for a detail-oriented Procurement Analyst to join our team in Melbourne, providing end-to-end procurement and operational support across supplier onboarding, vendor master data governance, and transactional issue resolution.
This role sits at the intersection of procurement, finance (AP), and business stakeholders; ensuring supplier data integrity, driving compliance, and keeping purchasing operations running smoothly. You'll play a key part in maintaining a clean, accurate supplier database while supporting due diligence and risk identification activities that protect the business.
Key responsibilities
- Manage supplier onboarding, maintenance, verification and periodic review processes, including vendor master data governance and integrity
- Manage changes to vendor master data, purchase orders and ERP systems with appropriate approvals from Finance and Procurement
- Support supplier classification and segmentation activities, ensuring suppliers are categorised appropriately for reporting, governance and risk management
- Assist with maintenance of Delegation of Authority and follow up on timely expense submissions in Concur
- Resolve vendor and purchase order escalations, providing procurement guidance to business units while working closely with offshore support teams
- Support procurement initiatives, reporting, process improvement and stakeholder projects to drive operational efficiency and compliance
About you
- Experience working within a large, global organisation
- Proven experience in procurement operations and vendor coordination
- Comfortable handling financial workflows (PR/PO, invoicing, reconciliation, payment terms)
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Finance/AP
- Hands-on experience with procurement platforms (e.g. SAP, Concur)
- Experience maintaining vendor master data within ERP systems
- A sharp eye for identifying and resolving data quality issues, duplicate suppliers and record discrepancies
- Exposure to supplier due diligence, supplier risk management or compliance processes
- Ability to analyse procurement and supplier data for reporting and governance purposes
Why Join Us
This is a great opportunity to build your career in procurement operations within a large organisation, working across multiple stakeholder groups and gaining exposure to end-to-end vendor and supplier lifecycle management.
