Procurement and Contract Officer

We're looking for a Procurement & Contract Officer to join a team on a 6-month contract, with potential extension to 12 months.

What you'll be doing:

• General procurement and contract management
• Managing contract variations and associated processes
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders
• Managing tender processes, including obtaining and assessing quotes from the market

What we're looking for:

• High attention to detail
• Strong ability to follow established processes
• Sound judgement and confident decision-making
• Experience in procurement and/or contract management (government experience not essential)
• Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
• Strong Excel skills would be an advantage

About you:

You're proactive, self-sufficient and delivery-focused, with the ability to take ownership and get things done. You bring sound judgement, attention to detail and process discipline, and feel confident engaging with a range of stakeholders. Robust training is provided, so we're more focused on finding the right capability and approach than requiring prior government experience.

Please note this role requires a Working With Children Check (WWCC) and National Police Clearance.
