Procurement and Inventory Executive

Objective

We are expanding our company in Thailand and are looking for a Procurement and Inventory Executive.
The Procurement and Inventory Executive will support the General Manager with the stock procurement and inventory stock planning for our warehouse operations in Thailand. This will involve analyzing inventory stock for our warehouse in Chonburi and preparing stock replenishment which will be discussed together with the General Manager. The Procurement and Inventory Executive will be involved in comparing and negotiating pricing, making sure delivery schedules are fulfilled and maintain strong relationships with preferred suppliers.

The Procurement and Inventory Executive manages day-to-day procurement related to stock, keeps track of the incoming stock orders, tracks stock levels and coordinates with internal and external stakeholders.
We are looking for a meticulous, detailed candidate who likes to analyze data and communicate with various departments within the company as well as overseas suppliers with room to develop and grow further.

Main Tasks

• Support the General Manager with analyzing stock replenishment for the inventory stock
• Prepare, process, and track purchase orders from creation to delivery
• Check delivery schedules, confirm order statuses, and resolve delays or quality issues with suppliers
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
• Regularly track inventory stock levels to avoid stock outs or overstocking
• Manage stock purchasing specifications and cross check with actual delivered order
• Update inventory, procurement and SKU data in ERP systems (SAP)
• Maintain and communicate up-to-date databases for supplier pricing, lead times, and payment terms
• Involved in supplier performance review and assessment of the internal approved vendor list
• Assist in identifying new potential suppliers together with regional offices in Asia
• Prepare weekly and monthly stock, purchasing, and inventory stock reports for management
• Work closely with warehouse, logistics, and finance teams on shipments and invoices
• Any other arising tasks related to Procurement and Inventory activities

Generic Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistic, Business Administration or related field

• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, inventory control or related position

• Experience in steel, oil & gas industry and knowledge of international trade is preferred

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English is a must

• Computer literacy (ERP, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is a must

• Good interpersonal skills, ability to deal with people of all levels

• Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills
