Procurement and Logistics Executive

About the role

The Procurement and Logistics Executive supports the Company's project, sales, and production teams by managing end-to-end purchasing, supplier coordination, materials planning, and cross-border logistics. This role ensures timely availability of materials, accurate documentation, and smooth movement of goods between Singapore and the Malaysia factory.

Key responsibilities

• Review drawings and perform materials quantity take-off for project and retail jobs.
• Prepare materials comparison reports and raise Purchase Orders.
• Source and coordinate with suppliers for new materials and project requirements.
• Work with Malaysia factory on material reconciliation (shortage/excess).
• Manage Singapore – Malaysia consignments, including preparing invoices, DOs, and shipment lists.
• Coordinate with transport partners to ensure timely delivery for production deadlines.
• Prepare samples for Sales team submissions.
• Check stock availability and raise POs when retail materials are insufficient.
• Liaise with Production Manager and Warehouse to ensure materials readiness.
• Provide weekly dates on project progress and material status.

About you

• Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or related fields.
• 2-3 years' experience in procurement, logistics, or materials coordination; experience in construction, fabrication, or manufacturing is an advantage.
• Strong coordination, negotiation, and supplier-management skills.
• Familiar with shipping documentation and cross-border logistics.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with procurement or inventory systems is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple timelines.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
