Role Summary

We are looking for a Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end sourcing and vendor management across our project portfolio.

This role is multi-site and phased procurement schedules, and ensure cost-effective, timely material availability without compromising quality or compliance

.

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing & Vendor Management

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors for civil/MEP materials,
• Build and maintain a reliable vendor database with performance history, certifications, and pricing benchmarks.
• Negotiate rate contracts and long-term agreements to ensure pricing consistency across multiple project sites.

Procurement Planning & Execution

• Plan and execute phased procurement schedules aligned with multi-year, multi-stage project timelines.
• Manage RFQ/RFP processes, comparative quotations, and purchase order issuance.
• Coordinate pan-India, multi-site procurement deciding what is centralized at Head Office versus handled at the project site level.

Cost & Budget Control

• Validate and benchmark BOQ rates against market intelligence.
• Drive cost optimization through negotiation, bulk sourcing, and strategic vendor partnerships.
• Track procurement budgets against project cost plans and flag variances early.

Specialized & Import Procurement

• Source certified/specialized items requiring specific technical or safety certifications.
• Manage import procurement processes where required — letters of credit, forex, customs clearance, and freight coordination.

Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure procurement processes comply with company SOPs, statutory requirements (GST, TDS, etc.), and project-specific quality/safety standards.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and audit trails.

Cross-functional Coordination

• Work closely with project engineering, site, finance, and quality teams to align procurement with project execution schedules.
• Provide regular MIS reports on procurement status, savings achieved, and vendor performance to management.

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor site-level procurement/store staff, ensuring consistent processes across locations.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Commerce, or related field; MBA/PG Diploma in Supply Chain or Materials Management preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in procurement/supply chain, preferably within construction, infrastructure, or sports infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing procurement across multiple concurrent project sites.
• Working knowledge of import procurement (LC, forex, customs) is an advantage.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and stakeholder coordination skills.
