Procurement & Logistics Officer

Assisting with sourcing and identifying potential suppliers or vendors.

• Helping to maintain and update supplier databases and records.
• Assisting with the preparation and issuance of purchase orders.
• Coordinating and tracking deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods.
• Assisting in inventory management, including conducting stock counts, and reconciling discrepancies.
• Assisting in negotiations with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and terms.
• Assisting in the preparation of logistics and shipping documentation.
• Monitoring shipment status and providing updates to relevant parties.
• Helping to resolve any procurement and logistics issues or discrepancies.
• Learning and staying updated on relevant regulations, compliance, and industry trends.
• Providing general administrative support to the procurement and logistics team
• Assisting in product item registration under Middle East municipality
• Assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations related to procurement and logistics activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in an field or Supply Chain Management, is a plus.
• Desirable Experience in procurement and logistics
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of local and international import/export regulations.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
