Procurement & Project Engineer

We are looking for a responsible and proactive Procurement & Project Engineer to join our electronics manufacturing team. The role will be responsible for supplier coordination, purchasing activities, project budgeting, order management, and coordination with production teams to ensure materials and project requirements are delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and coordinate with suppliers for materials, components, and production requirements
• Maintain and update supplier information, including quotations, pricing, lead time, MOQ, capacity, and supplier performance
• Request quotations and perform price comparison and cost analysis
• Prepare project budgets and monitor purchasing costs
• Issue purchase orders and follow up on order status, delivery schedules, and material availability
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding pricing, specifications, delivery, and other purchasing requirements
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and other departments to understand project and material requirements
• Coordinate with production line personnel to ensure materials and components are available according to project schedules
• Monitor project progress and follow up on outstanding purchasing or material issues
• Support new supplier development and supplier qualification activities
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers
• Prepare purchasing, supplier, and project-related reports and documentation
• Assist in resolving supplier and material-related issues
• Perform other duties and projects assigned by management

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
• Experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, supplier management, project coordination, or manufacturing is an advantage
• Experience in electronics manufacturing is preferred
• Good understanding of supplier information, quotation comparison, purchasing processes, and cost calculation
• Good analytical and numerical skills with the ability to prepare and monitor project budgets
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems is an advantage
• Good command of Mandarin and English to communicate with suppliers and internal teams
• Able to communicate effectively with production line personnel and different departments
• Proactive, responsible, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks
• Willing to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
