Procurement & Purchasing Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented Procurement & Purchasing Executive to join our growing Supply Chain and Logistics team. In this role, you will play a vital part in executing day-to-day purchasing operations, managing global supplier communications, and ensuring seamless cost-efficient material acquisition. Key Responsibilities1. Request for Quotation (RFQ) & Client Requirement Management

• Receive and analyze client RFQs, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of all technical and commercial requirements.
• Maintain a high responsiveness rate by processing and preparing quotes efficiently.

2. Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Engagement

• Conduct market research and source reliable suppliers globally (including OEMs, authorized distributors, stockists, and online platforms such as Mouser, RS Components, Element14, and Shopee).
• Ensure compliance with sourcing benchmarks—targeting a minimum of 15 qualified supplier quotes per RFQ across diverse origins (e.g., Italy, Dubai, China, India, Singapore, Malaysia).
• Clarify technical specifications with suppliers to ensure precise alignment with client demands.

3. Cost Estimation & Quotation Submission

• Prepare accurate cost estimations factoring in material costs, shipping fees, import duties, and Sales & Services Tax (SST).
• Deliver precise, structured quotations to clients within established deadlines, including technical datasheets and drawings where required.
• Manage post-quote client clarifications professionally.

4. Freight and Logistics

• Coordinate with dedicated forwarders to ensure timely and cost-effective shipping arrangements and material deliveries.
• Track shipments and secure complete proof of delivery documentation, including signed Delivery Orders (DO).
• Ensure proper execution of Malaysian Customs compliance (such as K1/K3 forms) and smart management of Import Duties and SST.

Working day: Monday to Friday

Working hour: 8.30am - 5.30pm

Pay: RM2,600.00 - RM4,200.00 per month
