Procurement & Purchasing Specialist

About the role

In this role, you will be responsible for managing procurement activities for our clients/partner, covering both day-to-day purchasing operations and procurement improvement. You will work directly with clients and their operational teams to ensure purchasing processes are efficient, well-controlled, and aligned with business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end purchasing activities for clients, from identifying requirements to order fulfillment.
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, availability, and lead time.
• Request, compare, and analyze quotations from multiple suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, MOQ, delivery schedules, and other commercial terms with suppliers.
• Prepare and manage Purchase Orders (PO) and related procurement documentation.
• Follow up orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor purchasing activities and identify discrepancies or potential purchasing issues.
• Maintain good relationships with existing suppliers and continuously explore potential new suppliers.
• Analyze purchasing prices and identify opportunities for cost efficiency and savings.
• Assist clients in improving procurement procedures, workflows, and SOPs.

About you

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Purchasing or Procurement.
• Experience in F&B, retail, hospitality, distribution, or consumer goods is preferred.
• Strong understanding of purchasing and procurement processes.
• Experienced in supplier sourcing, quotation comparison, and price negotiation.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable working directly with clients and operational teams.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
