Procurement Assistant

Pay: 3,000.00 (AED) - 5,000.00 (AED) per month

Location: UAE Salary: AED 3,000 – 5,000 per month

Employment Type: Full-Time

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Purchaser to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in both import purchasing and local purchasing, with excellent supplier management and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle import purchases and local purchases from sourcing to delivery.

* Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable local and international suppliers.

* Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate terms, and finalize purchase orders.

* Manage the complete import purchasing process, including shipping and documentation.

* Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, clearing agents, and internal departments.

* Monitor purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.

* Maintain proper purchasing records and supplier documentation.

* Negotiate competitive prices, payment terms, and delivery conditions.

* Monitor market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.

* Follow up on pending orders and ensure materials are received as per specifications.

* Coordinate with Stores, Sales, Accounts, and Management regarding purchasing requirements.

* Ensure all purchases are made in accordance with company policies and approval procedures.

Requirements

* 2-3 years of relevant purchasing experience.

* Strong and proven experience in both import purchasing and local purchasing.

* Experience in automotive spare parts / European trucks and trailers spare parts is highly preferred.

* Good knowledge of international purchasing, shipping, logistics, and import documentation.

* Strong supplier negotiation and vendor management skills.

* Good knowledge of UAE local suppliers and market is an advantage.

* Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.

* Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems; Odoo experience is an advantage.

* Ability to manage multiple purchase requirements and meet deadlines
