Procurement Assistant – Engineering (Reliever)

Job Description:

The Procurement Assistant (Reliever) – Engineering will provide temporary support to the Procurement Team for a 4-month reliever assignment. The role will assist in sourcing and purchasing engineering materials, spare parts, equipment, and supplies needed for company operations. This position will support supplier coordination, purchase order processing, delivery monitoring, and procurement documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in purchasing engineering materials, spare parts, tools, and supplies
• Prepare purchase orders and procurement documents
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding quotations, availability, and delivery schedules
• Follow up on supplier deliveries and order status
• Maintain accurate procurement records and reports
• Coordinate with Engineering, Warehouse, and other departments for purchasing requirements
• Assist in monitoring stock levels of engineering supplies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering Management, or related field
• With at least 1 year of experience in procurement, purchasing, or related roles
• Experience in engineering, construction, facilities, or related industries is an advantage
• Knowledge of purchasing processes and supplier coordination
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Detail-oriented with good communication and coordination skills
• Willing to work on a 4-month temporary reliever assignment
