Procurement Assistant (Goods)

The Procurement Assistant provides coordination and leadership in procuring requirements for all business segments by processing purchase requests and shopping carts timely and accurately with quality.

Responsibilities:

• Processes Purchase Requisitions (PR) into Purchase Orders (PO) for plant requirements.
• Negotiates with accredited vendors to maximize cost efficiency and savings.
• Manages and executes PR to PO conversion/creation of Plant/HPI Procurement requirement
• Analyzes requisition deviations, recommends corrective actions, and raises support tickets as needed.
• Provides daily reports on EPR and auto PO; coordinates with end-users and ensures timely resolution of issues.
• Responds to email and phone queries; provides recommendations and ensures resolution within 2 days.
• Ensures compliance with Internal Control Standards (ICS), Holcim Accounting Reporting Principles (HARP), and audit requirements.
• Secures and protects company assets assigned for confidentiality, integrity and availability.
• Maintains a secure working environment for customers, subordinates and employees by establishing and cascading security policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Must have a degree in business, engineering or any other related disciplines.
• Must have 3 years experience in Purchasing, Third Party Service Management or Contract Management
• Preferably with 1 year experience in SAP MM Module
• Preferably with knowledge on relevant government legislations (BIR, DOLE, DENR, BOC)
