Procurement Associate -B2 Level German Language Proficiency

Job Responsibilities

The individual will be responsible for:

• Handling incoming purchase requests from users via Ariba.
• Creating purchase requests on behalf of users in Ariba, if required.
• Perform PR compliance check and obtain necessary approval from DOAs as per

STADAs standard operating procedures.

• Follow up on order confirmations to be received from suppliers.
• Follow up with users regarding long pending POs and close them after confirmation.
• Handling queries from business users and directing them to the correct person /

team for resolution.

• Handling new supplier creation requests from business users.
• Performing checks for adding a vendor in the system as per standard SOP.
• Follow up with different teams for creation of new vendor within the system.
• Any other request as per requirement from time to time.

Key Competencies Required

• Graduate/ Postgraduate
• B2 / german Language Proficiency
• Experience in working with international business partners.
• Knowledge of Purchase to Pay process and experience in handling purchasing activities in Ariba.
• High degree of initiative, ability to work in a team, commitment, and cross-departmental thinking.
• Expertise in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in operational purchasing in the pharmaceutical, chemical or FMCG industries is preferred.
