Procurement Associate

SUMMARY:

A Procurement Associate provides administrative support for the Procurement Department of J&T Express. As a Procurement Associate, his/her job duties include canvassing, processing purchase requests, ordering supplies, and scheduling deliveries to ensure that J&T Express has sufficient number of necessary materials or equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor's degree in any program, preferably Logistics, Supply Chain, Import/Export Operations, or related field.

2. At least 1-year relevant work experience in Procurement or similar field preferred.

3. Experience in E-Commerce or Logistics is a plus.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

2. Good interpersonal and negotiation skills.

3. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.

4. Strong organization and project management skills.

5. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office and relevant software.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Review purchase requests based on current inventory and allocation of supplies, materials, and equipment.

2. Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers and to departments originating requests.

3. Determine if inventory quantities are sufficient for needs, ordering more materials when necessary.

4. Respond to customer and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations.

5. Perform buying duties when necessary.

6. Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, warranty servicing, and other problems.

Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
