Procurement Associate

The Change Partners are working with a tier-1 global consumer business to recruit a Procurement Associate.

You’ll support the procurement team with the day-to-day administration of purchasing activity, ensuring transactions are processed accurately and on time. This includes raising purchase orders, supporting RFx activity, coordinating with internal teams and suppliers, and helping keep invoices and month-end processes on track.

This is a 12-month contract position, with yearly extensions, inside IR35 via umbrella.

Key responsibilities

• Process procurement transactions through the ERP system, following internal policies and procedures.
• Support RFx activity and liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers to progress procurement requirements.
• Ensure supplier purchase orders are raised on time and invoices are processed for payment.
• Complete cost simulations and support procurement month-end closing.
• Prepare weekly procurement updates and reports.
• Provide general administrative support across procurement projects and categories.

What we’re looking for

• A degree and/or 1–2 years’ experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills - proficiency in Excel
• Good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage deadlines and follow up on outstanding actions.
• Strong communication skills and fluent English.
• Experience using an ERP system such as SAP would be an advantage.
• Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship.
