What they need
- Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and other procurement documents.
- Request and compare quotations from suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding product availability, delivery schedules, payment terms, and order status.
- Monitor pending orders and follow up on delayed or incomplete deliveries.
- Ensure that purchased items meet the required specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with different departments to determine purchasing requirements and maintain adequate stock levels.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, quotations, supplier information, invoices, and delivery receipts.
