Procurement Business Rotational Program

The Procurement eXcelerated Rotational Program (XRP) is an entry-level development program designed for recent graduates. Participants will complete 2 to 4 rotations across different Procurement functions , gaining hands-on experience and exposure to key areas of the business.

Program Overview

The Procurement XRP includes structured training and development opportunities throughout the program, including:

• Mentorship: Participants are assigned a mentor who provides guidance and support throughout the program.
• Plant Tours: Opportunities to visit YF manufacturing locations and gain exposure to manufacturing operations.
• Individual Development Plans (IDPs): Participants work with the XRP committee and their mentor to establish development goals and define a career path.
• Networking: Opportunities to build relationships with employees across different functions and levels of the organization.
• Professional Development: Training focused on communication, active listening, presentation skills, leadership, and other professional skills.
• XRP Community: Cross-functional events and activities with participants from other YF rotational programs.

Essential Functions

Participants will support activities that are integral to the automotive launch process and overall Procurement operations. Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting new business quoting and sourcing activities.
• Providing Procurement support to manufacturing plants.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with Procurement, Operations, Engineering, Finance, and other business functions.
• Supporting supplier evaluation, development, and performance improvement activities.
• Identifying and supporting opportunities to improve supplier capabilities and performance.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and business projects.
• Analyzing data and providing information to support business decisions.
• Performing other Procurement-related activities based on business needs.

• Buyer – Direct Materials
• Buyer – Indirect Materials
• Buyer – Tooling / CapEx
• Plant Material Analyst
• Supplier Development
• MBBP / Continuous Improvement

Travel Requirements

The position may require domestic and/or overnight travel, including travel to YF manufacturing locations and suppliers.

Required Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in:

• Supply Chain Management
• Finance
• Accounting
• Human Resources
• Management
• Organizational Leadership
• or a related field

Qualifications

• Previous internship or co-op experience is preferred.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Customer-focused mindset and strong results orientation.
• Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
