We are looking for an experienced Procurement Buyer to join our team!

Key Responsibilities

• Responsibility for purchasing electrical/electro-mechanical/mechanical items
• Manage procurement processes with multiple suppliers in Israel and overseas
• Lead NPI procurement activities from the development phase, including:
• Close collaboration with R&D and Development Engineers
• Costing and pricing of new components
• Ensuring material availability for development builds
• Influencing development processes, identifying solutions, and sourcing and developing new suppliers
• Lead negotiations to achieve optimal pricing and drive cost-reduction initiatives
• Issue and manage high-volume purchase orders
• Resolve material shortages and supply issues while ensuring a stable and continuous supply chain
• Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders across the organization
• Lead procurement-related processes and projects

Requirements

• 5+ years of proven experience as a Procurement Buyer – required
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field – required
• Proven experience purchasing electronic and/or mechanical components – required
• Strong negotiation skills and proven experience working with suppliers – required
• Strong computer skills and advanced Excel proficiency – required
• Excellent organizational and task-management skills, with strong attention to detail – required
• Assertiveness, ownership, independence, service orientation, and excellent interpersonal skills – required
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines – required
• Experience preparing and maintaining reports, tracking data, and performing data entry – required
• Fluent Hebrew and English – required
• Experience with Priority ERP – an advantage
• Previous experience as an NPI Buyer – an advantage
