We are looking for a Procurement Chief to join our team for the SRU Iași (Spitalul Regional de Urgență Iași) Project in Romania.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to one of Romania's most significant healthcare developments, working as part of an international project team in a dynamic construction environment.

Location: Iași, Romania

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience .
• Proven procurement experience in large-scale construction, EPC, infrastructure, or healthcare projects.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, sourcing strategies, contract administration, and commercial negotiations.
• Experience in procurement of construction materials, MEP systems, equipment, and subcontractor packages is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Excellent command of Romanian and English (written and spoken).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP procurement systems.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary project teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for the SRU Iași Hospital Project.
• Source, evaluate, negotiate with, and develop relationships with local and international suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare RFQs/RFPs, analyze quotations, and conduct commercial evaluations.
• Negotiate commercial terms and ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services.
• Coordinate procurement activities with Site Management, Engineering, Planning, Cost Control, and Finance teams.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, quality standards, and contractual compliance.
• Conduct market research to identify alternative suppliers and cost optimization opportunities.
• Prepare procurement reports, commercial analyses, and purchasing forecasts.
• Support project procurement planning while ensuring compliance with company procedures and project requirements.
