Procurement Civil Engineer

We are looking for a Procurement Civil Engineer with a strong civil engineering background and proven experience in UAE villa and high-rise construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and procuring civil materials, equipment, and subcontracting services while ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare material procurement plans based on project requirements and schedules.
• Source and evaluate suppliers for civil construction materials.
• Obtain and compare quotations, negotiate prices, and prepare purchase recommendations.
• Procure materials such as concrete, reinforcement steel, blocks, cement, waterproofing, tiles, finishing materials, and other civil items.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, QS, Planning, and Accounts teams.
• Review material specifications, BOQs, drawings, and project requirements before procurement.
• Ensure materials comply with project specifications, approved samples, and UAE standards.
• Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules, and material availability at site.
• Maintain proper procurement records, supplier databases, and documentation.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve procurement-related issues.
• Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for quotations and commercial negotiations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Proven experience in civil procurement within UAE construction projects.
• Experience in villa and high-rise building projects is required.
• Good knowledge of UAE construction materials, suppliers, and market prices.
• Strong negotiation, coordination, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to read and understand BOQs, drawings, specifications, and material submittals.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and procurement documentation.

Pay: Up to AED20,000.00 per month
