About the role

A Purchaser is responsible for buying goods, materials, or services needed by a company to operate effectively. Their main goal is to ensure that the right items are purchased at the right time, in the right quantity, and at the best possible price and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Follow up and monitor closely on the arrival date from supplier (Import or Local Supplier)
• Ensure all GRN are properly filled and passed to finance
• Coordinate and communicate with production planner and production team if there are any delays
• Monitor GRN closely based on budget (yearly target basis)
• Order raw materials continually based on forecast or sales order (no extra purchase)
• Investigate and determine what/how/why material came incorrect or damaged (ELFB or incoming reject form need to be settled within 7 days)
• Settle Purchase Requisitions from Admin or Maintenance daily
• Close Maintenance and Admin GRN daily
• Complete Plastic PPV report on the 1st of each month
• Review supplier performance on the 5th of each month

About you

• Diploma in admin or supply chain management
• 2 years of working experience
• Excellent skill in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, BI, SAP
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines
• Detailed and meticulous
• Able to communicate effectively
• Good problem solving and analytical skills
• Good initiative to drive results
• Team player with a positive working attitude
